I dunno. I don't know anything about pools.Isn't that the stuff you put in swimming pool filters?
Flea medicine and vacuuming like aveline said are definitely things to do. Or at least a flea bath and vacuuming, if your cat won't take medicine, but you still need to kill the fleas first.Ugh, does anyone know a way to kill fleas in the house and on the cat that won't harm her?
Bless youFlea medicine and vacuuming like aveline said are definitely things to do. Or at least a flea bath and vacuuming, if your cat won't take medicine, but you still need to kill the fleas first.
Some things that work okay for that (not as well as poison, but I understand the worry about your cat) are:
Sprinkle salt on the floor, wait a few hours, vacuum it up. The salt dehydrates the fleas to death.
A spray bottle with a combination 2 parts water, 2 parts lemon juice, 1 part vinegar. Spray on places you need to worry about fleas, particularly ones you can't salt and vacuum.
Vacuuming after and washing all of the laundry/bedding are still important, because things that kill fleas don't necessarily kill their eggs, so you'd otherwise just have more hatching in a few days.
(Yes, I have had a lot of flea problems before. Now every cat who goes outside wears a flea collar)
use food grade, not pool grade.Isn't that the stuff you put in swimming pool filters?
