Ikr. Ridiculous. My wedding was less than a $1000 all in - my dress(es), shoes, husband's suit, shoes, marriage license, park rental, food. Honeymoon was another $350. We were done paying before we even got married.

wow that's impressive! I didn't end up paying for most of mine or the honeymoon but was still trying to keep everything inexpensive.
