my nickname at work is "sandwich"

because when the company used to buy us food, it was always like.. chicken and rice, chicken and fries, pasta dishes, or pizza (never any plains, always like 8 veggie pizzas, wtf)

so one day I had an idea
a plan

throughout the week leading up to the next company lunch, I mentioned to several people that having short hoagies would be cool, different, and allow for quite a variety.

I'd go into detail about the benefits of being able to customize your sandwich - tomato? lettuce? mustard? ham? turkey? etc
I would dilate my eyes when I said the word sandwich
you know, to drill into people's minds that we should get sandwiches next time

so, the time came around, and we were all asked what we wanted, and it was a resounding "chicken and rice"
and now everyone makes fun of me and calls me sandwich

I've been turking since 2009. I finally decided to download the Panda script. The only ones I have been using are Mturk Engine and Turk Master. I assume people use Panda for batches?

Like...panda crazy? Hit catcher? Panda's sort of a general term so panda script is a bit vague

Most batches I'll panda and just do them from queue. Though, batches with short timers or when load time is a concern, I'll do them in multiple tabs/windows instead.

The first one adds links to HITs posted to the forum to add them to Panda Crazy. The second lets you view HITs as they're posted on mturk and add them to Panda Crazy.

for a long while, back in my myspace days, I was a regular on a final fantasy forum, even though I hate most of the games
several people were meeting up somewhat near me, and I said I'd go, which is out of character for me; I am not very social at all.

so I went, and we all went to a diner
I got the roast beef dip, obviously

and when it came out, it was on a baguette
I was trying to explain to the waitress, who has no control over the food, about how a decent french beef dip uses a bread that can soak up the au jus, because a baguette, with it's smooth exterior, doesn't soak up the gravy

this obviously means that your sandwich isn't being properly dipped, as the gravy doesn't get to actually soak up your bread at all

anyway, the next day my account was kicked from the group, because they previously didn't believe I was real
so as it turns out, I was removed for not actually being a fake/troll account
