I thought the threshold for to be qualified for most of the jobs barring Master's was 5000. I was wrong I guess?

Everyone started out making next to nothing. The people who do well on MTurk are the ones who don't think about it on a per job, or even a daily basis. Those people realize that learning how to PandA, or doing low/no pay qual HITs, or setting up HM all have value, even though it doesn't show right away on your PE. Patience and remaining calm, during both good and bad times, are 2 skills that will make this "job" something that you can live off. During your probationary period, you aren't supposed to be making much money because you are learning how to make money. If you focus on learning, so that you are ready to go HAM when probation is over, then you've used probation wisely.

There are several different thresholds, yes. One that is used frequently is the 5000 approved mark.

I think my important milestones were 1000 and 5000. 10000 opened up a few more HITs, just not as noticeably as the other two.

Lol, I decided to try one OCMP75 hit. I told the bot that I wanted a reservation in Charleston, SC (I didn't specify a date). This was the response I received.
