Looking at dryers and then stumbled upon this amazing review...:whistle2:

I live in an apartment without washer/dryer hookups and bought this unit brand new as a companion to my portable washer.

I dry small loads with plastic dryer balls and the unit dries things quickly. Love the eco settings and use those often when I'm not keeping a close eye on my wash. Not having to vent the dryer is great, so I have this set up in my kitchen and hidden in a pantry when not in use.

Why the negative review? Because no matter what I do, the dryer makes my clothes smell like marijuana. I don't smoke, but after I get done drying my clothes, it smells like I did all my laundry in bong water. I've tried everything to fix the problem -- cleaning out the unit with white vinegar, drying towels soaked in lavender oil, taking off the back and making sure everything in the unit was clean and well-lubricated. Nope. Nothing has worked. My towels smell like my linen closet doubles as a jam band venue.

I thought maybe long term use would eliminate the problem, but I've noticed no difference now a few months later. This is really problematic for me since I'm a professional woman well past her college partying days.

It's a great little unit otherwise, but the persistent smell lowers my review from 5 stars to 2.

For those 1.25 Lorn Davis hits... are we supposed to just use the first column? I was using tab, so I was using both columns... then I realized that maybe we are supposed to just use the first column, and then move to the second column if we have more? I hope that makes sense. I have read the instructions, but I am not sure which way they want it. Anyone? :) (And helllllo)
