These are completely separate from the massive A9 Validation $0.01 batches' photos. (In case you're one of the gazillion people confused by that.)

Yeah, they originally were using qual scores to prevent people who submitted pics from doing the review mini-batches generated by their own pic submissions, but that system seems to have broken down at some point, so I've heard of a couple people who got rejected on the review HITs because of that.

The other type of A9 Collection rejection that I've heard some people have gotten is if they don't take at least 1 decent pic of the correct item when they submit a picture-taking HIT - if you only send in 1 for that item and it sucks, or all 5 or however-many suck, then it gets rejected (if you do more than 1 for that item and you have at least 1 decent one, then they just don't give you the bonus for the sucky one/s from that HIT).

The A9 system breaking in some way? Well that's just shocking to hear.
