Is it customary for the toddlers to wear all black?

I have to buy my daughter a dress, but i am not sure if I will put her in all black. It seems so morbid.
When my dad passed away, I put my daughter in a navy blue and pink dress. I had several relatives said they loved seeing that little ray of sunshine there. I don't think it really matters. Toddlers and babies bring happiness to sad situations in my experience.

... gonna watch a cousin star in one of his movies from the '30s. Most of these are actually fairly decent. Go get the BAD GUYS, BOB STEELE
(But boy, does this western town have a narrrrrow main street.) Good night all. One of those "rewarding frustrating" days.

for my sister, my cousin, my aunt (all separate occasions within like six months of each other) my kid just wore normal dresses.
but it is also probably personal preference, and you should ask family members that are also going.

I've only seen kids in dark colors if they were the child of the person being buried. Other than that, with little's I've seen just "Sunday best"

Don't worry about repeating jokes. Just today I had to read 20 different posts saying " Not fast enough to catch this hit apparently" when the How Fast Are Your Response Times? hit appeared.

And let me tell you, each one was more hilarious than the previous one and I did not want to run headfirst into a wall at any point.

PE: Just met my step goal for the day finishing the slumber party cleanup, according to my fitness band!

And I see some 5s are still up, but not the good ones. Cry.

I don't think I'm going to be able to do 200 of them.

When my FIL passed and I had to take my kids to the funeral, I put them in dark colors but not black. Just muted, toned down kinda thing.

No. Not at all. Just buy her a nice, pretty dress. I can't think of any funeral where I've expected kids to be in black. At my daughter's funeral I actually asked for "not all black" from everyone. I don't even wear black to funerals. I wear a nice outfit. To my grandmother's very traditional, Mormon funeral I wore a darker grey-brown outfit. It was entirely appropriate. The boy wore a grey suit with a tie and nice shoes.

when my father died a year and a half ago my youngest nieces were in dark colors but not black. there really was no reason to buy a new outfit when they already had dressy enough clothes.
