Why is turkmaster making the alert noise even though I turned it off...?

I've never been able to mute individual hits for some reason, I usually have to turn the sound off in TM options.

That's just mturk being stupid. If you keep a panda link on autorefresh, you can just work from your queue and (hopefully) not run out of HITs until they're gone.
