they say pork is bad for you because pigs literally eat anything

so after they make them into food - those toxins are still in the meat

pigs are raised in some very nasty conditions. They are piled into a barn yard and left to their own garbage. Not a pretty site.Don't forget though crawfish, lobster, crabs are the filters of the sea.

I'm willing to bet that 90%+ of the meat that you eat probably spent its life living in literal shit. I doubt it makes much of a difference if it was a pig or not.

"all animals cry and fight not being slaughtered for food. and that's what you're feeding yourself to make your mind and body happy?"

i say this as i have beef fajitas sitting on my counter, but that post hit me hard

Plants cry and scream when you (and animals) eat them too. Science proved that.
And I'm gonna refrain from getting into migrant labor and quinoa farms.
But. Circle of life. Omnivores be omnivoring, human or other animal.

That's also why my ultimate goal (starting with my eggy girls...) is to have enough land that I can raise the meat I feed my babies myself, so I know what they've been fed, know how they lived, and can properly thank them for nourishing my babies

i mean all humans have to eat. eating animals goes back to the beginning of time

i see both sides and now i'll do more research on plants fighting death later
