06/11 - Sea Turtle Saturday!

So I just spent the last 2 hours building an outdoor enclosure for my cat who just has to be outside, but will stay away for days making me worry. I thought we could compromise: He gets to be outside, but he has to be in the enclosure. He still has grass, fresh air, breezes, water, food, a place to lie down and soak up sun, or a place in the shade.

He is currently sitting on the other side of the fence in the neighbor's yard....

...after getting out for the third time. He is sitting in the shade on their back step, enjoying himself and mocking me.

I'm pouring with sweat, filthy, have had I don't know how many battles with 8 legged demon spawn, and have multiple scratch wounds on my arms.

You don't know defeat until you've had your ass handed to you by a cat. Three times in one afternoon.

put the enclosure against the house. cut a hole in the wall of the house. put a cat door/dog door there. then he can hang out outside whenever he wants. cat paradise.

It's not my house, or I would have done that ages ago. I now have the problem solved so that he can't get out anymore...but I can't knock on the neighbor's door again. I'll just have to wait until hes hungry...
