I like this HIT... It is like a nice break from work to look at colorful birds, plus it only takes a few minutes

One German (a '66 VW), two Swedish (a 96 SAAB and a SAAB Sonett two seater sports car), and three British (an MG Midget, and two Morgans: one of which was a 1967 Morgan Super Sport shown below. Designed to race at Le Mans.

Every time I took it to a mechanic to tune the 42-DCOE carbs, they's say something along the lines of, "You shouldn't even be driving this on the street!." Ash wood frame (like all mogs, and hand built, like all mogs; the scoop you see on the bonnet is for the carbs), aluminum body, lightened and balanced engine. One of 19 of that year made. It was a KICK to drive. ... I used to go Porsche hunting. Huge steering because this is the type of [true] sports car that was man-handled thru racetrack corners.. I Bought it and the other mog when I got back from Viet Nam. Mine was maroon. :)

What happened to it?
