It depends on the timer and how desperate I am. For example, if the timer is 2 hours I'll keep the panda going for at least 2 hours, just in case I can catch any expires. But if it's a high dollar HIT or something that I really, really want, I might keep the panda going for most of the day. I don't think there's much of a reason to keep anything much longer than that unless you know a HIT is periodically being reposted.Curious how long you keep a HIT in the Panda before discarding it?
Factors influence it. Usually for at least as long as the hit timer if that's over 2 hours to catch any expires or returns. If it's a hit I know gets reposted often I'll hang on to it for days. If it's a hit that the requester posts often and it uses a different HIT ID, I'll keep it and do a requester search.Curious how long you keep a HIT in the Panda before discarding it?
Thanks! I've been keeping them like a month if they are higher dollar. I have caught a couple that way, but was starting to think I'm bogging things down for current hits. I was writing/editing before I left for the store, but that's not as amusing as pretending I played the broken internet game all day.
That is not a sequel being published.
About 20-25 min. No writing, very bubbly. Took a couple of minutes to load initially and advance between pages on occasion, but that might be my internet today. I'm also tired and moving slowly, so others can probably do it more quickly.

How many pandas do you usually have going at once? Thanks! I've been keeping them like a month if they are higher dollar. I have caught a couple that way, but was starting to think I'm bogging things down for current hits. So much to learn.
Good info. I'll have to figure out how to do a requester search.Factors influence it. Usually for at least as long as the hit timer if that's over 2 hours to catch any expires or returns. If it's a panda for a batch that comes back often, I never delete it (e.g. Zoltars).
Yeah, you could be missing current stuff because you're devoting too many panda refreshes to stuff that might not ever post again (at least not with the same group ID.)Thanks! I've been keeping them like a month if they are higher dollar. I have caught a couple that way, but was starting to think I'm bogging things down for current hits. So much to learn.
Oh, probably 15-30 I guess. I try to clean it up every morning, but have a hard time getting rid of the $3+ ones. How many pandas do you usually have going at once?
I've already misread a couple questions today, so I'll probably do it here too, but that's way too many pandas at once.Oh, probably 15-30 I guess. I try to clean it up every morning, but have a hard time getting rid of the $3+ ones.
Try limiting that to no more than 2-4 at a time. With 15-30 things all refreshing in sequence, each of those pandas is probably only checking for a new HIT every 15-30 seconds. That's far too long. If you want to catch stuff on panda you really want those refreshes to be short (in the <1-2 second range), so keeping only a couple things going at once will prevent all of that stuff from queuing up and slowing things down.Oh, probably 15-30 I guess. I had Holly Jolly Christmas going through my head one day over the weekend. Have no idea where that came from.Gosh darn it. That is as bad as saying "I just lost the game" because now you all can't get that out of your head and you just lost it, too, and now that song is stuck in my head.
Quick. Quick.
This land is your land, this land is my land
From the California to the New York island
From the Redwood Forest, to the gulf stream waters
This land was made for you and me
