Well, that was awful.
I hiked up Mt. Ascutney. I did it twice last year.

This year, I didn't have enough water (it's really hot). Got lost on the way down (WHY? I KNOW THE WAY DOWN). Had to be coached back on the trail (I called out to someone above me, lol). But without water, I was so dehydrated. He gave me a water bottle (please don't let him have covid) and I crawled back to my car.

Here, you'd probably fall 50 feet off a mountain ledge to your death or if you still had some wits in that state of dehydration and fatigue, you'd call 911 for help and a military or state police chopper would fly to you, a search and rescue member would be hoisted down to get you off the mountain and fly you to a landing zone i live near and paramedics would check you out and transport to a hospital if necessary.
