Hell no, I'm not concerned in the least if someone wants to pay me a lot of money for something simple lol. It just looks like something that someone would reject over for no reason.

It was 100% subjective, though, they shouldn't reject. Never say never, but I felt ok about it.

My daily earnings went WAY up when I started using Hitscraper more efficiently. Like, +$10/day easily. and I didn't have to spend more "time" grabbing HITs.

I used to be all excited when I saw an email from mturk that was an invite to a follow up survey. Yay! Don't gotta compete for it (most of the time).

Now I'm all, "Rats. It's not a bonus email. I gotta go do actual work for that extra money."

Newb question, how do you catch batches if you aren't running a panda on TM?

Nah, if you aren't running a PANDA on Turkmaster there are still several ways to catch stuff.

If it's a big batch that's got thousands of HITs in it, you can just open the HITs up and accept them manually. Some batches go down so slowly, or have such short timers, that PANDA'ing them isn't entirely feasible or necessary.

For batches that have to be chased around, you can manually refresh the Preview and Accept link. It's slower, but it still works sometimes.

And then there's always just plain dumb luck, stumbling on something while you're searching on Mturk.

But because so many people use Turkmaster and PANDA links, you're competing against people who are much faster than you are manually, which is why running PANDAs is still the easiest way to get stuff.

I've used Hitscrapper like...twice, I think.

I don't have any issues with it... as far as I can tell, it works just fine. I just don't like using it.
