Anyone have a smart thermostat? Trying to figure out the right one for us. Boyfriend's mom wants list of things we want for Christmas. I would like a thermostat I can adjust from bed, or work. lol

My sister bought the Nest and returned it because depending on your house it takes some time to learn your habits, she ended up paying a little more in the beginning for electricity but it evened out a months after. She did eventually got rid of it though and got the Ecobee 4 instead which she highly recommends since it comes with the room sensors and is more specific in warming and cooling high dwelling areas. I'd get one too but my electric company doesn't have a rebate program for smart thermostats which sucks.

I was reading a lot of cool things about the Ecobee.

A house I lived in for a while had a nest, and overall it was a pretty sweet little set up. But I had never seen the ecobee before. Thanks for your input!
