Oh the stories I'm sure we could share Half of which no one would ever believe. I did just under 3 years out there and came back home and found a local gig. No truck stops for me anymore. Tho I can't lie, it was exciting out there OTR.

I was hoping to go a few years. Just didn't work out. I was also flatbed and just got worn out. I never really hit my stride. But I got to see 45 of the lower 48 and ontario. I loved the views and the people really were fun to talk to. Plus in flatbed I had a lot of loads in and out of some cool places. But yeah, I like being able to shower when and where I want.

Awesome a fellow flatbedder! I started in a box and made it a year, then decided to go flat. What a world of difference that was! The helpfulness of other flat drivers was amazing to me. Having an issue, let me help you out. Any yes, the places were cool too! Did some pipeline runs in Texas that took me far off the road, log cabins to rural areas my truck shouldn't of been, nuclear power plants, military bases, even the middle of the desert with no building in site.. (They made a dock out of sand lol).

Anyways, cool to know another trucker is in here and don't want to hog the daily. Have a good one!
