I usually have a few because some people are just awesome as fuck.

I just ended my relationship with my person like that a few months ago. She did the passive-aggressive "in town but not calling/visiting" stuff too and became a bitchy-ass bully. (She put me through
hell as I tried to support her through the exact same cancer scare she was going through that I had dealt with five years prior. I was there for her even though I dealt with mine alone after she yelled at me for "not taking care of myself" and refused to talk to me for a month.) It took her almost three months to finally contact me via text when I ghosted on her, and when she did it was an order to "Get on fb right now so we can talk". (Nah, no thanks, I've learned to enjoy the space you left.) There is a part of me that misses her, but I realize that when people are like that, it gives us the time/space to find better people to call friends who won't be jerks.
