I do it, but mainly if im about to buy something online. The cash back usually works out nicely for me ^_^ i dont bother with videos or surveys. Ive gotten about 150$ since february just from ordering things i normally do online.

I discovered a family member has used mTurk as an academic requester, and picked his brain about what it was like. Apparently you get a lot of nonsensical keyboard spew submitted. So obviously I'm not speaking for this requester, but now I feel less nervous about where the bar is for effort when I see language like that.
