i swallowed bleach.
seriously.
had a root canal this morning, and near the end she had a few syringes of this clear yellow liquid and used them one at a time. I didn't know exactly what they were, they smelled kinda like hydrogen peroxide i thought (i never use bleach, i use.. peroxide. personal preference.) and it got to the back of my throat and I took control of the spit squirter thing and it felt like i was gagging on some painful crap. it felt like some sort of pain killer, like when you have been using ambesol for too many days in a row. some of the bleach got trapped in the rubber mat thing extending out of my mouth, and was pushed against my cheek and now i have a long red scar on the left side of my face coming from the corner of my mouth.

when everything was done I asked what that was, and she said "oh, we use bleach to clean those out, that's all"

I was like, "I swallowed some! how soon until I DIE?!"

and she said, "another 40 years, give or take"
