So, guys, I'm either going to be $58 richer, or I will have 100 rejects, and it only took me an hour and a half or so. I think that's a well balanced risk.
Sounds great! Can you handle 100 rejects? That's the only risk that I would assess.

I could be wrong:p

I don't know if not eating at all would be easier than eating less for most people. You may have an iron will. :) That said, the health benefits from fasting are based on occasional, even regular but infrequent, fasting. It also may be great for losing 8-12lbs, mostly water but, not the healthiest way of losing any significant amount of weight, and keeping it off for any length of time. One of the side effects of fasting is that it sends your body into starvation mode,(part of why it has any health effects at all, good or bad) which will help you lose weight while you are starving but, your body will try to store any calories taken in afterwards, for fear that it may be put into a starvation situation again in the near future. Part of the issue with losing weight and keeping it off, is to train yourself to eat less(the ONLY way to lose weight is with a caloric deficit, which can be accomplished through fasting, dieting, etc.) and retrain your body to metabolize food more effectively. I'M NOT A DOCTOR but, with my limited experience as a dietitian 15yrs ago, I don't think retraining yourself to learn how to fast most days is the best idea.

I could be wrong and not being argumentative. :) Just another viewpoint. I will agree that if you need to lose 5-8lbs real quick, fasting will work.
EDIT Annnd, everyone's different. YMMV
Yeah, the big benefits of fasting involve autophagy, and even athletes that use it, and the professionals studying it, concur that going beyond 48 hours is unecessary.
That being said, OMAD is a great way to not worry about calories, take advantage of autophagy, and get all your protein and healthy fats in. You know, so your brain keeps working right and shit. (16-24 hours is recommended for that sort of fast.)

I currently have 23,979 approved with only 29 rejects out of all of those. I think, if my calculations are correct, it would take approximately 240 total rejects to bump me down below 99%

Sweet. :D You're in good shape the. A few more rejections than I but, even if you did get rejected, it's pretty slim that you'll be mass rejected. Which HITs? The "find a fact" HITs? Got a PandA? :p

I can only take 24 rejections before I fall below 99%, that's why I only did 20 of the James Block Hits. But that happens when you only have 2793 approved hits, I really should just find some penny stuff and get my #'s up but there is only soooo many ScoutIts I can do before I want to curl up in a ball and cry.

No, not eating literally gets easier the longer you do it. Fasting causes ghrelin (which causes feelings of hunger) to go down the longer you're fasting for. The first 24 hours are the hardest hungerwise, and then after that the real challenge is just not being bored.

Starvation mode is a buzzword made up by people to scare people off of reducing calories/fasting. The only starvation mode anyone really needs to worry about is when you're very low body fat % and you don't have anything to eat, and for most people that isn't a problem. The only thing slightly related is the slowing of the metabolism that occurs when you start restricting calories.

I'd really recommend reading some literature about it, there's been a lot more research done in recent years.

I think I've done some HITs by Noah before, and I don't remember anything shady from him. I haven't gotten any rejections in forever /knocks on wood so I'm hoping for the best

I don't even know how I got to the point of having 10k, much less almost 24k. It gets easier with practice. I don't remember the quals for a9's but if you can do those when they post they're supa easy penny HITs most of the time

screener for a longer survey. It told you at the end if you qualified for it and that it will be emailed out next week.
