Living in the Boston area, I wouldn't count it but it's pretty close so I think you'd be okay to count it since the definitions vary. But I'm not doing the HITs so I don't know the context.
Would it make sense based on these choices?

Greater Boston Area
New England
N. Eastern US (NY, NJ, PA, DC, etc.)
SF/Bay Area - CA
San Diego Area - CA
Other US/North America
Europe
Outside of US (Not European or Global)

for the Kens, what would you define as the "greater Boston area"? would you include North Andover, MA, which is an hour driving distance from Boston?
I don't know the context, but that could mean just Boston/Cambridge/Brighton/Brookline, or it could stretch out to Framingham, or even Worcester

Given this context I guess I would say out to Worcester

Based on these choices, I guess I'd count it. Kind of weird there's no "rest of MA" option given this context lol.

western MA is no-man's land, I would guess from those choices, and is just part of "New England"

kind of makes sense imo

It's targeting pharma companies. I think they are trying to determine if it revolves around a hub or is just kind of scattered.

Thanks!
