That's what I used to do when I lived in CA, but it doesn't really work all that well out here. We're usually already well into the 90s by 8-9am when places even start opening, so going early doesn't really help all that much. Just have to deal with it.

Yeah, not pleasant. Thankfully, it's starting to feel a bit like monsoon season, so it has been getting cloudy quite a bit. No rain yet, but it at least helps to have the sun obscured somewhat.

I feel your pain. I had to go through half the summer last year with no AC in my car. It was hell. I ended up needing a new compressor though, so I had to pay almost $1500 to get it fixed.

MIne is dying and if that happens I wont be able to fix it.. We just had a slab leak here and new floors installed and in the same week our house AC died and cost $1000 to fix.. I am sooo far behind financially yet cant find anything to work on on Mturk.
Luckily with my car I know how to fix whats wrong and the blower motor resistor is easy to get to in my car.
