Fuck it, I'm done. Gonna do laundry and take a nap before going to the fireworks with my husband and kids later. My kids have never actually seen a real fireworks show - all the crowds, plus the fact that it's usually insanely hot and humid around here on the 4th means that we've skipped it every year. They're 7 and almost-5. I sort of feel bad that we've never taken them, but I think they're gonna love it.
