In the details section of a zoltar you can change the action mode to a pantha and should get more. Only works for throttled hits. Can also try the delayed goham mode by pushing the Goham button until it turns blue. It will speed up if it finds a hit and slow down after.

I wish I knew what any of that meant so I could actually try it.

Ok, what's the difference between a panda and a pantha?

Somebody already answered but a panda takes 1 request and a pantha takes 2 requests which means a pantha is slower and can miss some hits but it works with throttled hits.
