You might be surprised what's out there, have you looked on Indeed.com? You're fairly rural if I remember right, and there are jobs posted now and again for low voltage technicians here in Iowa, so there might be similar things there too. Work out of your home and go on calls when needed. I'm looking into it more myself, let me know if you want a rambling PM tomorrow with ideas. I'm about off here for the night.

I haven't looked too much. Holding out one little slim bit of hope. Or maybe like an ostrich with my head in the sand. The job I do is working on machines, although technically I am an electrician. I'm more like a technician. I *know* I can get a job, but everything just seems so unknown.
