Since capital punishment was still allowed in U.S. schools until 1988 I really feel like that should be the cut off point between generations. Not saying there is a connection between children who weren't beaten senseless by teachers turning into millennials, but...Yeah, that's an insane definition. If Kurt Cobain died while you were in high school, you're not a millennial. The 1982 seemed way more reasonable and even that feels too early. But I guess there's not going to be a good, clear line anyway.
