but won't that be $400+ when it is released? plus we are still using a ps3. we aren't really in a hurry to upgrade but i know my bf wants to play a few games that have only come out on the ps4.

It wouldn't hurt to ask. You wouldn't want to buy a unit that is messed up in some way. If they were weird about you testing it, then maybe hold off. It's a better price overall but if you ended up deciding not you, you could always just save up a little bit more for a new unit.

Pawn shops prey on lower income folks and like payday loan places ought to be run out of business. with electronics stuff you want some kind of warranty. sure it might work at the pawn shop, but what happens when you get it home and it overheats or breaks? your out 225.
