It depends on where the focus is. Its not in the hit the times it jumps to the return button.

Right, I got that. But I'm going through batches and the focus is different between hits in the same batch, that's what I'm confused about.

I've had some problems with it lately as well so I'm not sure this fix will work but you can try putting
Code: 
iframe.focus();
inside whatever script you are running.
