Invest in at least a bronze certified power supply.
Other than that, looks pretty great.

Wait, actually, more things.
Get a GTX, not a GT video card if you're going NVIDIA.
Sound cards are 90% pointless unless you have surround sound you're going to set up.

Yes, the SSD is a reasonable thing now. If you want a fast boot time, sticking just your OS install on a small SSD will do wonders.

I only just now noticed the i7. Unless you're in art/movies etc, the difference between an i5 and i7 is negligible except for price. I'd put money into a similar i5, save $100, use that towards a decent video card and power supply. Drop the sound card. External is merely a matter of preference at this point.

Not truly, I guess, then no, but that's still low end enough it'd be worth changing up a lil.
The current powersupply isn't bronze-certified, which means it doesn't even perform well enough to pass the most minimum stress/heat test on the component.
So I'd go with getting the bronze-certified power supply.

imo always have 2 drives minimum, one to run the OS and such and a smaller as a back up drive just in case.
