This no T.O. requester posted a survey that took an hour to complete. I wake up to this rejection: "Did not check consent boxes so cannot use these data"

If you're telling the truth... If it's actually a mandatory data field, make it a mandatory field for Submit.

You obviously can design your HIT to let me do your work for one hour, unpaid and now rejected...

I'm unsure I believe this requester. And now, I'm going to spend another hour or two chasing this and hoping I can get it reversed... #@$@

UPDATE: People on Mturk F o r u m are reporting rejects as well.
