I'm not a fan of radishes, but I work with a lot of hispanic people, and for whatever reason, every other week or so someone goes around collecting money and using to to make food (and a few dollars) for everyone. two of the girls make what they call "Peruvian Food" which is mostly rice and some other stuff. several of them make various types of taco - and one kid has these soft little tortillas (sometimes hardened by frying, and they're multilayered or something) and sometimes he puts in radish cut into strips.
