I took the x to the ER one morning at 3 AM as he had a kidney stone. He started throwing up so we didn't have to wait long in the ER in downtown Houston. They put him in a room with a morphine pump while they tried IV liquids to flush the thing out and rehydrate him. The room next to us had a frequent flyer and his SO other in it. She kept yelling when was her BF going to get his drugs? He was in pain, dang it. The nurses ignored them or told them in a little bit, then they kept running in the X's room and asking if the morphine was working? Did he need more? Was he doing okay? I'm sorry but I had a sadistic sense of humor for the frequent flyers who couldn't get drugs and the nurses kept telling the x he could have more.

agreed. i preferred the taste of pepsi over coke when i was drinking sodas. stopped doing that several years ago.
