Yeah, I know the feel of trying to do something nice for someone and put up with them and have them leave. Like, whelp, I guess I just wasted a whole bunch of time with that. Good thing MTurk has prepared me for that feeling.

I'd say "just don't ever respond and they'll eventually learn it gets them nowhere" but some cats are just talkative. One of mine likes to hear his own voice so much he'll scream when he has a toy in his mouth, when he's in the litter box, when he sees a wall, etc. Now I just talk back. He has a lot to say about the economy.

Catnip on a towel on the floor next to me, fill the bird feeders outside the front door often and go plop the cat in front of the windows to watch it, treats as distractions, other toys as distractions, Paul Dining's bird videos on youtube on the TV in the living room...and they still sit in my lap a good 25% of the day. I use them as arm rests until they get tired of it.

How many of my fellow turkers are going to buy/sell some stuff this week in the US60 yard sale? The US 60 yard sale is the longest yard sale in the world if im not mistaken.

I thought it was the U.S. 27/127 yard sale. Used to tie up things between Lawrenceburg/Harrodsburg and I'd always avoid the area when they had it.

One of mine is basically the same. Getting up to move 2 feet only to plop down in the floor again? Better announce it. Getting the shit beat out of him because he decided to mess with one of the other cats that was sleeping? Better announce that too, let's just do it a bit more quietly than usual so the owners know I'm not in serious danger. He also kneads and meows while eating food. I do the same if the food is good enough.
