Buttons. The Checkboxes, unless you make the font bigger OR draw boxes around them like the buttons, will creep into the page with everything else. You want your controls front and center so you can't screw it up when you haven't had your morning coffee at 0530.

I think when people try to be subtle about closed quals, it draws even more attention to it because other people don't know what's going on, so they ask about it. If they just say the name of it, those who don't have the qual can just ignore it and scroll past.

True, also I guarantee it bugs me just as much now as I likely will not care when I am in their place someday haha so I'll just suck it up for now, think positvely...and if I'm not ever in their place, what @Pleco said.
