I agree with @Squatty because batches are mainly about your timing. If you're not on to see the batches or don't know which batches to keep on alert then you will miss them. And if you don't pay attention in the forum when quals are posted and such, then those kinda go out the window too. Depends on the qual of course, but I'm sure you get what I'm saying.
