The worst is Golden Corral, because it's a buffet and you pay beforehand, so they ask if you want to leave a tip before you've even gone in. You're also getting all of your own stuff, but they just have a couple people walking around with some rolls or something. Just put them rolls on the buffet and leave me alone plz.

Any time we've gone the waiters are always poking around bringing drinks, and condiments and moving plates off quickly. Always as attentive as a waiter at any other place. (Our rolls ARE on the buffet though. )

I ran out and pulled off as many peaches as I could. But there is so much thunder I can't stay out there. Some of the branches will break. Maybe all of them......

im not gonna lie for the internet... if I have it, I tip 20, but sometimes when I'm broke yet too stupid to stay home, I tip 10, so I think that balances out to 15% lol

You need to tip your wife more too.

It really looks like an octopus. It's just laden with fruit and most of it isnt' ripe yet. It's so heavy. The hail and rain.........all the branches are bowed towards ground (close to ground). Not tree like - weeping willow like. Like a baby weeping willow. (ETA: it's a pretty young tree - prob. 4-5 years old?)

I actually don't always know what I tip anymore. I'm terrible. I hand the reciept to my boyfriend and he does maths. And he tends to be generous.

Using a % doesn't really make a ton of sense anyway. It's not like it's more work to carry a steak than it is to carry some toast. It kind of works as a method for scaling to larger groups that require more work, but imo it makes more sense to just give what you want to give without doing any math. I give more when people are working the overnight shift, because you know they're not making shit.

I rarely eat at a sit-in restaurant, and when i do its normally Steak N Shake. I used to have a regular waitress there back in the day that always waited on my group, whether we were in her section or not, and she got some good tips. But nowdays i don't have any favorites there and i don't even bother calculating anything, i just leave a $2 tip and leave.
