I feel you. They always pick the most clean cut, "have such a great job and husband and kids" people who probably don't need the money. They never pick people who actually need it. Like broke ass college students or single moms with 4 kids who can barely make the rent. The responses to what they'll spend the money on is always, "I think I'll take a vacation" and never, "I'll use it to pay off some of my bills."

Exactly. When I was a kid my family took a vacation out to LA and my parents went on the Price is Right. Of course they didn't get picked to "come on down".

That's sounds like a cool story anyway, but yeah that does kind of suck. I went to a game show audition once, but didn't get picked because we were being dumb idiots and were too good at game but I guess we didn't fit the image they wanted.
