At least she responded to you. I have now made two inquiries; one yesterday after the first rejection and one today after seeing there were 5 more.YES! I was just going to post about these. I obviously made some mistakes but she rejected TWELVE of mine and will not reverse them despite my very nice emails explaining the error I knew I made. She was not very pleasant at all via email so definitely be careful
FYI: Even though I did not get the normal "your email has been sent" page, and instead, got an error saying that the address was not found, the email went through. Apparently, there is a bug on MTurk's end regarding this. I heard back from the requester and they said the HIT shows paid on their end, but it isn't showing up in my dashboard. They said that this has happened a few times before, and it worked itself through. So, we will give it some time. If not, they said they would setup a comp HIT for me...In case anyone ever has this kind of issue with their HIT's in the future or if people are noticing error messages on Contact Requester messages. My HIT expired on the Empirical Jury HIT on Saturday before I could submit my completion code. I emailed the requester to let them know as soon as I realized what happened. I haven't heard back from them yet and I wanted to send a followup email, but I cannot figure out how to contact them now. I found the HIT from Saturday on the forum and used the MTS contact requester function, but when I did, I did not get the normal "your email has been sent" page. Instead, I got an error saying that the address was not found. I tried going through the Turkopticon contact requester link, but it just took me back to the HIT search page on MTurk with no results. Any ideas?
I don't know if it breaks rules to post her response? But I wrote her a few times and she was NOT friendly. At least she responded to you. I have now made two inquiries; one yesterday after the first rejection and one today after seeing there were 5 more.
No? I hope that's not the case. I just started. Good morning everyone! No HITs today too - Lets RIDE out Monday

Last year as I remember, it took some time to ramp up to the research studies being published. Also, there is a very worrisome academic article going around that is highlighting a sudden upward trend in nonsense data being gathered from MTurk for psychological studies. For a lot of colleges starting up not much is happening.

I have already seen that concern voiced in some of the surveys I have taken. Hopefully, researches will come up with creative ways to deal with it that do not make the process more difficult on our end.Last year as I remember, it took some time to ramp up to the research studies being published. I did part 1, then after accepting part 2 I was told the hit was full and to try again later. I haven't received any follow up emails, but would like to do the 2nd part of the hit. Thanks!@sweetpea0678 @Persephone78 @Dragonfly to clarify things about the HIT "[Part 2/2] Play games and get up to $17 in total pay" by Sid:
We submit multiple HITs with different qualifications (in particular, 6 batches with different qualification values), and you will be eligible only for one. So, as long as 1) you've been receiving our email notifications; 2) haven't done part 2 yet; then there is a HIT that you qualify for today at 1 PM ET and then again at 2 PM (and tomorrow, same times). The reason for doing it over multiple sessions is to reduce the server load as some people on Friday suffered from noticeable lag (i.e., it was a larger batch).
If you have any questions, suggestions or comments, you can always post here as well: https://www.mturkcrowd.com/threads/...gust-up-to-17-in-total-pay.3738/#post-1308556 (I monitor the forum, but sometimes I miss a few conversations about our HIT).
