Will MTurk do anything about it when the requester rejects and refuses to pay for reasons that are demonstrably incorrect?

They just reversed my rejection for it.

This requester dinged a bunch of people, me included. I have sent an email but the reason they gave for the rejection, I am not holding out a lot of hope of it being reversed.

I may actually work harder though. Because I always knew I had that there to pad a light day. Now that I can't depend on it, I may do more in the time that I allotted for that. Who knows? Guess I'm just trying to "think about an experience in a different way to avoid negative emotions", as they say.

That's a good way to look at it. Today has not been my day at all, so SurveyComet just saved it. But now I gotta dig in the rest of the week. Haha.

Hey guys, I have a question for you non turk related but I know y'all will give valuable answers.

We had to hire a new employee. This Wednesday will be three weeks since she started. She is unable to call her boss (my mom) by the correct first name. She comes up with some *variation* of the name but rarely the actual correct first name. I have corrected her several times.

Is it wrong of me to think that by now she should be crystal clear on what her boss's name is? She uses it incorrectly when addressing my mom and also when talking to clients/tenants/vendors, etc.

I have other concerns with her that make me wonder if she is going to work out, but this one really bugs me. Am I overreacting?

Hi MTurk Crowd,

I have a new upcoming Image Review task that I am recruiting Turkers for. A few test HITs have launched already with very minimal qual requirements, but I am having trouble getting accuracy vs the task guidelines.

In an attempt to increase accuracy and help Turkers better understand our needs, I have created a test to help explain the guidelines and to use as a way to find qualified Turkers.
