I had issues with her too. She rejected 12 of mine and I finally got a response but she was SO nasty and won't be reversing them - I'm in the same boat as you as well, I'm only at 8300ish and her rejections really just killed me.

I just talked to a tax professional about taxes and mturk and he said I wouldn't have to pay quarterly and could pay at the end of the year! Thank.....freaking........god!!! Headache gone...lol

Feel free to leave her a TO review on Turkopticon...sometimes it helps and definitely warns others.

Every university has a Institutional Review Board that oversees research. If you get no reasonable explanation from her you might consider contacting the IRB.

At 10k approved, each one is only lowering your approval rate by .01%. So yes they are affecting you and I'm sure it's very stressful. Even one can be stressful. But, even if they all reject, it shouldn't bring you below 99%. Everything after the decimal is "padding". So, it will reduce your ability to take risks in the future, because you never want to risk anything that could bring you below 99% but, it won't affect much of anything else.

That said, I hope you don't get any more and it was just a fluke. Never risk more than you're willing to see rejected and I'm sure you'll be fine. Deep breaths. We've all been there.

Dumb question here. When using HIT Forker what is the difference between the two sections? Not sure what the logged HITs section is. I've tried searching on the subject and it still doesn't answer my question. Some in the top and bottom section I've done. Most I have not.

The top hits just popped up...grab them quick with one click from the accept column. They fall down to the logged hits where you can hit the panda or one time button all to the right if you have panda crazy up. I don't know if I said that all correctly, but it's close.

I did that a bit ago as she still hasn't responded to my inquiries (2). I know we mturk workers aren't considered very important in the grand scheme of things but I think that $8 out of my pocket and around 3 hours of my time (15min per HIT average) AND a drop in my rating deserves a response, it's just common courtesy . . . It will probably get worse . . . DEEP BREATHS, DEEP BREATHS . . .

If you see A9 pearls/studs or A9 Yes/Nos pop-up again do those. Easily scriptable, and super easy. From Thursday Night thru Sunday afternoon, I complete ~8500 of those A9s and they've all already approved (no rejections)!

DO NOT do any A9's with bounding boxes. Too much work and unreasonable high likelihood of random rejections.
