Winter:

- No pollen
- No bugs
- No humidity
- Getting to sleep past 5am because it's dark and cozy and I'm warm in my bed and there aren't birds shrieking outside the window
- Snowshoeing
- Wood smoke
- Fantastic holidays
- It's winter, like, 80% of the time here and so it's pretty much Stockholm syndrome at this point oh my god please help me what is it like to live in a place where there is sun?

I like cold weather, shorter days, things that are associated with winter like holidays and my birthday and stuff, and tbh I think everything being dead just looks kinda cool. It's also the exact opposite of summer, which is pretty much the worst thing ever.
Yeah, it looks cool but I guess for me, winter ends up lasting too long. Sometimes it feels like after summer, it goes straight to Winter and me having to wear 4 layers. Then the snowstorms and being forced to stay in. then theres also the snow and rain mixed into slush on the ground. Every step feels absolutely disgusting and dirties up your shoes in no time at all. Then you drive and cant see traffic and have to be aware of potential black ice.

Why would anyone choose winter as their favorite season?
Everything is dead. pretty sure winter is bad for everybody. flowers die, birds fly away, bugs leave, bears hibernate, and its more dangerous for us to travel around
I live in Florida. I chose winter because it's when it's finally not hot and humid here, well not usually any way. LOL

Stayed in Kissimmee for a week at this time last year, and it does take time to adjust to that humidity, wow - and I live near Virginia Beach and was still not ready.

Funny how the results mirror when turking is at its best (and worst, too)

Florida - 98% humidity all year (my leather shoes molded - MOLDED - in the back closet).
So hot NO ONE walks (and if you do, people assume you have lost your car - or your mind).
So hot you can't grow nearly as much in your garden (really).
Strawberries have to be replanted every year (and only grow in the beginning of the season, before it's TOO hot).
Alligators (nuff said)
and snakes
Lots of snakes
