I'm off to finish my latest book after a disappointing dinner - I warmed some frozen beef taquitos in the nuke and had Mexican sour cream, avocado, and salsa (side of cole slaw). I think I should have put the taquitos in the toaster oven - I thought about it but I figured it pulled more power than the nuke (?) and we're conserving power until 9 pm.

amazon voice assistant says toaster oven 1200-1400 watts and microwaves 600-1200 watts. i'd say go with the toaster oven anyway as its just a few minutes and this late in the evening i'm sure the electrical grid demand is a little less with sunset having arrived.
