Welcome back! My mother had similar surgery and her nerve compression issues lasted about three months. She went to PT for about six weeks and then did exercises at home and she is 100 percent now. I hope your doctor is incorrect and that your symptoms subside as well.

The Neurosurgeon is basing his prediction on the length of time my nerves have been compressed, sixteen months.

Well, just got compensated....so at least the requester was cooperative...AND I am 1 buck away from today's goal!!

I haven't given up. I still have to do physical therapy and a lot could change in the next few months. I enjoy hearing about someone else's positive experience, I have not talked to anyone else that has gone through this surgery with my symptoms. It is encouraging to hear about your mother's outcome and I appreciate you sharing it with me.
