I searched high and low for those stupid glasses. Couldn't find anything. I figure as long as they wear sun glasses for the 30 seconds they'll be interested we will be fine. We're in a really bad region for viewing anyways and it's really foggy out right now. I'd be surprised if we can see anything.
it's not as dangerous, because when the eclipse occurs, our eyes dilate a bit to allow us to see better in darker hours. That's why UV damage is more likely to occur
Yup. I understand the science and that the risk is greater. I just find it remarkable that people need to be told to not look directly into the sun without protection even on a normal day.
Where's the photography person? They'll explain how long and difficult it will take and be to film that but it will be done. And we get to watch the sped up video.
