You know, I'm not to sure. I think I read somewhere that TS is generally easier for people to make JS stuff coming from other languages than doing it in JS because because of the typing? So learning that would also help me branch out the opposite way a bit easier I guess. You probably know more than I do so maybe you get what I'm trying to say.
