Ah yes... An article in a crappy pop-sci magazine written about a single poorly-research blog post written by a borderline computer-illiterate graduate student who had next to no experience posting surveys on MTurk and who thought that the best way to clean-up survey data was to throw-out redundant data based on GPS informaion... Yet he didn't really seem to know about setting basic qualifications or know about attention checks... or know that both IPs and GPS info can easily be spoofed.
Yet the conclusion of the article: BOT ARE TAKING OVER MTURK
...and it's all Lucca's fault!
