Amazon's site says that when someone fills out the profile questions, it can take up to 30 days for the answers to be reflected in their account. So if this do-the-questions-get-no-CAPTCHA thing is true, one could assume it also takes up to 30 days for the CAPTCHA to be removed.

I did 1250 customer interests without captchas... and I was getting angry, waiting for captchas cause im so used to them. but they never came. I got.. captcha blocked.

occam's razor would lead to a conclusion that this is all a dumb mistake, judging from how things have been handled in the past; I wouldn't sweat it
