People on the FB page are starting to let the stress show. They're getting mean. Read they called the cajun army to stop or something because people are taking shots at them and a police and an older man drowned.

You can just keep track of your account online, see what's being spent where, call the bank if there's any problems, do chargeback if something was put on your credit card that you didn't buy, etc. There's really no need to only buy things online using a gift card/cash card unless you're super paranoid about everything.

I personally am not afraid of internet dark alleys but in the case I am referring to the kid needs the protection for piece of mind.

He should see if his debit card provider provides a one time virtual number that can be generated.

True but he only loses the $25. I'll look into the virtual number thing but I don't think his mom wants him to use it debit card for any online activities.

I couldn't find any. I watched where the people looked ahead of me and I searched about 6 positions before my time ran out. I think they are, wisely, indoors atm.

People can be mean on social media even without all of this. Shame that people are being mean because of this as well. I try to stay off FB a lot but most of my timeline seems to be as in good spirits as they possibly can be at the moment given the situation
