I am afraid of 'real' candles so I have a bunch of the ones from the Dollar Tree that come in a two-pack without the batteries, claim to provide 1,000 hours of light and take AAA batteries (tall, white with a base you fit them in) as you don't have to hold and aim them and they are fairly bright; I just scatter them around in a blackout. I haven't found a solar charger for anything that I'd recommend to anybody and I've tried a few . . . P.S. I always have a few bottles/cans of ready-to-drink coffee around . . .Get prepared, just in case. If it takes a more northerly turn you could very well be affected. Its a pretty big hurricane.
