Everyone who caught the $60 Hit, try the first 1 or 3 blocks and ask yourself if you can do that 60 times.
Is it worth whatever you may miss while you are focused on it?

I couldn't. I returned it after 2 blocks.

I am stuck in a catch-22 dilemma.

I started Turking just to earn a little extra money while I stayed home with the kids. Now I really enjoy Turking.
I had my Mother-in-law visiting last week and she helped a lot with the kids. I was able to Turk full time and was doing $80-$120 a day.
Now I am home alone with the kids and Turking is so hard with an almost 1 year old who needs almost constant attention.
I am back to my $40- $60 a day.

Should I pay to put my kid in daycare and Turk full time? Would the money even be worth it. Daycare is so expensive. Or should I just be happy with my $40 days?
For me I'm doing the "best of both worlds"
Stay home, wake up at 6 and hit the turk, if Globals dry up I will be more SOL though
Any day over $25 is AMAZEBALLS and I still get to be with them.
For me I am not skilled at it enough to make $80-120 I think so not worth the $40 EACH per kid I would have to pay to daycare.
If you could get a mother's helper for a few hours to take them to a park and feed the kid lunch for cheaper than daycare you could Turk hard while they are gone.
I'm always debating going back to to work, but in the end I love being with them

Mturk is not consistent -- you don't want to be in a position where you hit a prolonged slow patch and feel pressured to work on :vomit: HITs. Or when the burnout comes (which it does with vengeance, in my personal experience) and feel pressured to keep working at the same pace.
Wise words.

i would rather be relegated to only a9s for the rest of my turking career than work on the $60 HIT again
I think I read so many things like this that when I started it, it wasn't nearly as bad as what I'd built it up in my head as. Just a lot when you're used to doing the typical (much smaller) hits here. Just my opinion, and of course I only did a fraction of it before accidentally returning, so I probably am not qualified to say anything. Which rarely if ever stops me.

Got this 60 dollar hit. Bet I'm going to hate myself for it.
Right up until the money for the hit plus the bonus pays out. Then you'll be super glad you did it.

It's not so bad if you leave yourself enough time to do it and do it between other work or when it's slow. I didn't leave myself enough time so it was a bit of a crunch for me.

I did it over a couple days time myself. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be. Most of the tasks are 5-10 minutes and some are even one page bubble surveys

Some blocks are way more taxing than others, though. Some are super easy, and some are just surveys.

I hate to ask but does anybody have a PANDA for the $60 HIT. I just might hate myself enough to do it.
